Concert Pianist and Organist JEB DENNIS began piano study at seven, after beginning to independently play back music heard on the radio and recordings at age six. At eleven, he began a lifelong affiliation with Silvermine School of Music in Norwalk, CT, studying under its founder Juliet Shaw and Director, daughter Sandra Shaw-Murphy. By twelve, he began engaging the standard and bravura classical piano repertoire, including several Beethoven Sonatas and the Liszt Hungarian Fantasy for Piano and Orchestra.

At 15 Jeb began college-level study with Karen Shaw, Professor of Piano at Indiana University School of Music, and other daughter of Juliet Shaw. He attended Indiana and recevied a Bachelor in Piano Performance under Professor Shaw, an additional Minor in Business, and continued post-undergraduate studies with her. A participant in many state, national, and university competitions, honors included the 1992 Indiana University Dagmar Reiley Piano Award, the 1992 Schubert Club of Fairfield County, CT Koffler Award, and winning the 1990 Connecticut State Music Teachers Association Concerto Competition. He made his concerto debut at 16 in Grieg's Piano Concerto. In the spring of 2003, he performed the Mozart Piano Concerto in B-flat Major, K. 450 with the Amici Chamber Orchestra.
