Jason Jacob received his Bachelor of Music from UMKC Music Conservatory and went on to receive his Masters Degree in Music Performance at the Rudi E Scheidt School of Music where he studied with Lily Afshar. He is currently pursuing an Artist Diploma at SUNY Purchase with Frederic Hand. Jason is passionate about teaching guitar to all ages. He has received Suzuki guitar training at the Frank Longay Conservatory of Guitar and is qualified to teach the method to children as young as three years old and older. He also teaches a wide variety of musical genres ranging from classical, rock, blues, metal, and folk. He encourages his students to find their musical voice through their own personality, aptitude and individuality.
