National Music Certificate |
The high standards of The Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum are made available to American students through the National Music Certificate Program. Practical piano and music theory examinations are conducted each year in select communities through a network of examination centers. Each year, more than 100,000 students participate in the internationally recognized Certificate Program.
The Certificate Program starts with two preparatory levels, suitable for piano students completing their first and second years of study, respectively. The Program then progresses through ten consecutive grades (Grades 1 - 10), and culminates in certification as an Associate of The Royal Conservatory of Music (the ARCT diploma). The examinations available for each level, grade, and certification, serve as logical assessment points for developing musicians.
The Carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory Achievement Program provides a recognized national standard of musical success through an effectively sequenced course of study from beginner to advanced levels. The Achievement Program inspires excellence through individual student assessments and allows students to celebrate accomplishment and track their progress with others across the country. It also supports teachers with high-quality and innovative resources. All students deserve the opportunity to celebrate their musical achievements nationally. Join the growing community of teachers, students, and families who are discovering the benefits of The Achievement Program as it enriches their lives!
